Nature of ReMembering Workshop Series
This ReMembering cohort is first and foremost a learning space. Deepening our connections with self, others, and the Earth can best be learned both from the bottom up, through embodied, present, felt experience, as well as from the top down, through more cognitive learning methods. Participation in the cohort requires being both a student and teacher, giver and receiver, space taker and space holder.
It is vital to the cohort that each group member has the capacity to work with others on psychological material, receive feedback, and navigate interpersonal conflict. Participants will experience this workshop series as a deep personal growth process. However, it is not intended to be a group therapy space, and we strongly recommend having support people outside of the sessions so that cohort members can fully participate as learners. There is an emphasis on group learning experiences - discussion, practice, demonstrations - that necessitates the capacity to collaborate, be aware of and accountable for one's impact, self-regulate, and communicate directly.
